Addressing Potential Content Integrity Concerns
⚠️ Suspected Malicious Files After Download
Cause: Some downloaded materials, especially those originating from sources like CGPeers, may potentially have malicious injections.
Solution: Always scan all downloaded files with your Antivirus. If the file is an executable or an installer, ensure your antivirus remains active and open during installation or execution. If you encounter suspicious files, consider providing the filename and a VirusTotal report result link or the file's MD5 Hash in comments, especially if the positive result rate is higher than 30% (excluding common false positives like 'Generic' or 'Patcher' flags).
Prioritizing Your Digital Safety on CGPersia
- 🔒 Always Use Antivirus: Make it a standard practice to scan every downloaded file, particularly executables or installers.
- 🔒 Avoid Unofficial Account Purchases: Do not attempt to buy invites or user accounts from third-party sources, as this can lead to being banned from community features.
- 🔒 Be Aware of Source: Understand that some content originates from external platforms like CGPeers, which may carry inherent risks.
- 🔒 Verify Suspicious Files: If an antivirus flags a file, exercise extreme caution. Report suspicious findings in the comments section with relevant details.
