Resolving Unlisted Player Profile Situations
⚠️ Player profile not found or showing limited data
Cause: The player may be inactive, have very low stats, or their account might not meet the minimum criteria for Hiscores listing.
Solution: We know seeing an unlisted profile can be puzzling. The official OSRS Hiscores only include players within the top 2 million for a given category. Additionally, some stats, especially for bosses, require a minimum number of kills (e.g., 5 for Jad, 50+ for others) to appear. If a player has not met these thresholds or has been inactive for an extended period, their data might not be visible. Double-check the spelling of the username, as it must be exact. If the name is correct and they still don't appear, it's likely due to these listing criteria.
⚠️ Hiscores page not loading or displaying outdated information
Cause: Temporary issues with Jagex servers or rate-limiting.
Solution: Occasionally, the Hiscores may experience brief outages or delays in updating due to server maintenance or high traffic. The system relies on Jagex's public endpoints. If you encounter issues, please try again after a short while. These are usually transient. For ongoing technical issues, Jagex often posts updates on the main Old School RuneScape website's status page.
Transparency in Player Data Sharing
- 🔒 The OSRS Hiscores only display public information that is already available through in-game mechanics.
- 🔒 No private account information, such as login credentials, email addresses, or billing details, is ever displayed or accessible through the Hiscores portal. This digital portal respects user privacy by limiting shared data.
- 🔒 Be wary of third-party sites that claim to offer 'advanced' lookup features requiring your login details, as these are not official and could be phishing attempts. Always use the official Jagex Hiscores for secure information access.
