Resolving Gameplay Challenges in Real Mah Jongg
β οΈ Difficulty replacing tiles with jokers on a player's rack
Cause: The game interface can be finicky with specific actions.
Solution: Drag your actual tile and carefully hover it over the joker on the opponent's rack. Patience is key, as it may require a few attempts.
β οΈ Unable to change game speed or access main settings
Cause: Settings are often accessible from the main menu or before starting a new game.
Solution: Go to the gear icon in the bottom right corner, click it, and scroll to the 'end game' option. This action should return you to the home page where you can adjust settings for a new game.
β οΈ Experiencing lag or glitches, especially during joker exchanges
Cause: Online interfaces can sometimes have delays or minor bugs.
Solution: While there isn't an instant fix, being patient and understanding that the game may experience occasional lag is important. The developers continuously work on improving performance.
β οΈ The app doesn't recognize a Mah Jongg or specific hands from the 2019 card
Cause: Software interpretation errors can occur, or there might be specific nuances in how the computer evaluates hands.
Solution: While the computer aims for accuracy, occasional discrepancies can happen. Trust your own knowledge of the 2019 card; if you believe you have a Mah Jongg, acknowledge it even if the app doesn't immediately. This can still be valuable practice for familiarizing yourself with the card.
