When You Can't Access Your Bridge Base Online Profile
⚠️ Forgotten Password
Cause: You cannot recall the password for your Bridge Base Online account.
Solution: We know being locked out is stressful. If you've forgotten your password, navigate to the login screen and click the "Forgot your password?" link. You'll be asked to enter either your BBO username or the email address associated with your account. Bridge Base Online will then send an email containing a link to reset your password or a new temporary password. Always check your spam or junk email folders if you don't see it right away. If your account was locked due to too many incorrect login attempts, you might need to unlock it before using your new password.
⚠️ Unable to Complete Registration
Cause: Your chosen username might be taken, your email address hasn't been verified, or the Terms of Service weren't accepted.
Solution: When creating an account, ensure your chosen username is unique; the system will indicate if it's unavailable. You might try adding numbers or a unique nickname to secure an available name. Crucially, after you register, BBO sends a confirmation email to the address you provided. You must click the activation link in this email within one week to finalize your account setup. Without this step, you won't be able to log in. Also, double-check that you've agreed to the Terms of Service during the registration process.
⚠️ Account Profile Disappeared
Cause: Some users have reported their BBO profile or account appearing to vanish unexpectedly.
Solution: While this is a rare occurrence, the fastest path to resolution is to contact customer support directly at [email protected]. Provide as much detail as possible about your account, including your username and any recent activities. If you can still partially access the platform, sometimes checking your "Account" and "Edit profile" sections can offer initial insights.
Keeping Your Bridge Base Online Account Secure
- 🔒 Craft a robust, distinct password using a combination of letters (both uppercase and lowercase), numbers, and symbols. Avoid easily guessable information like birthdays or common sequences.
- 🔒 Never disclose your BBO password to anyone, regardless of who they claim to be.
- 🔒 Exercise caution when using the "Remember Me" login option, especially on shared or public computers, to prevent unauthorized access.
- 🔒 Periodically update your password, particularly if you notice any unusual activity or suspect that your account has been compromised.
- 🔒 Always ensure you are logging in through the official bridgebase.com website to guard against phishing attempts.
