Resolving Access Challenges: Solutions for Your BBO Account
โ ๏ธ Cannot access account due to forgotten password
Cause: The user has forgotten their password or entered it incorrectly multiple times, leading to a temporary lockout.
Solution: We know being locked out is stressful. The quickest fix is to use the 'Forgot your password?' link on the login page. Enter your username or email address to receive a reset link. Remember to check your spam or junk folders for the email. If your account is locked due to too many incorrect attempts, you will need to unlock it before using your new password.
โ ๏ธ Browser auto-fills incorrect login information
Cause: Your web browser or password manager has saved outdated or incorrect login details for Bridge Base Online.
Solution: This is a common occurrence. Go to your browser's settings and locate the 'Passwords' or 'Autofill' section. Find and delete any saved entries for Bridge Base Online. When returning to the BBO login screen, manually type your correct username and password. You can then save the updated credentials if prompted.
โ ๏ธ Unable to connect or play after logging in
Cause: Potential issues with local network settings, firewall, or temporary BBO service disruptions.
Solution: If you're facing connectivity problems, first verify your internet connection is stable. Firewalls or antivirus software might occasionally block access; check their settings to ensure Bridge Base Online is permitted. In rare cases, BBO might experience outages. Check official BBO social media channels or their website for service status updates. Trying a different browser or clearing your browser's cache and cookies can also resolve temporary glitches.
