Preparing for Exclusive Early Access Reading
- A WEBTOON account is necessary to utilize the Fast Pass feature. This ensures your purchases and reading progress are saved to your user profile.
- The official WEBTOON mobile application (available on iOS and Android devices) is where Fast Pass chapters are primarily purchased and read. While some basic reading is possible via web browser, purchasing Fast Pass chapters typically requires the app.
- Sufficient WEBTOON Coins are required to unlock Fast Pass episodes. Coins are the in-app currency used for these advance purchases.
Accessing Your WEBTOON Reading Portal
- First, open the WEBTOON app on your mobile device. If you don't have it, download it from your device's app store.
- On the app's home screen, locate and tap the 'More' tab, usually found in the bottom navigation bar.
- Select 'Log In' or 'Sign Up' if you haven't already. You can often log in using an email address, or through linked accounts like Google or Apple. Ensure you're logging into the correct account where you wish to manage your Fast Pass purchases.
- Once logged in, your user dashboard will display options related to your reading history, subscriptions, and Coin balance. This confirms you're ready to explore Fast Pass content.
Unlocking Advanced Storylines and Supporting Creators
- Instant Chapter Access: Fast Pass allows you to read new episodes of ongoing webtoons, including unOrdinary, immediately upon their release, often several weeks before they become available for free.

- Stay Ahead of the Story: For popular series, Fast Pass ensures you're always current with the latest plot developments, avoiding spoilers and participating in advanced discussions.
- Permanent Unlocks: Episodes unlocked with Coins through Fast Pass typically remain accessible in your library even after they become free or if the series concludes.
Navigating Common Reading Access Challenges
⚠️ Cannot purchase or find Coins
Cause: Issues with in-app purchase systems or regional restrictions.
Solution: Ensure your device's app store is correctly configured for purchases. Coins are typically bought directly within the WEBTOON app via the 'Coin Shop' located on your profile or through the 'More' tab. Some regions might have limitations on payment methods. If issues persist, check your app store payment settings or contact WEBTOON support.
⚠️ Unlocked Fast Pass episode is now locked again
Cause: This is generally not how Fast Pass works; once unlocked with Coins, episodes are usually permanent. This issue might confuse Fast Pass with 'Ad Pass' or 'Daily Pass' systems.
Solution: Fast Pass episodes unlocked with Coins are typically yours to keep. If an episode you unlocked with Coins is re-locked, first verify it was indeed a Fast Pass purchase and not an Ad Pass unlock (which are temporary). If the problem continues, there might be an account synchronization issue. Contact WEBTOON Support with details of the episode and purchase.
⚠️ Can't access Fast Pass episodes after logging in
Cause: Possible account issues, app glitches, or regional content restrictions.
Solution: We know being locked out is stressful. First, try restarting the WEBTOON app or reinstalling it. Ensure you are logged into the correct WEBTOON account associated with your Fast Pass purchases. Verify your internet connection. If the problem persists, check for any messages from WEBTOON support regarding your account status or regional availability of the content. You can find more troubleshooting steps in the WEBTOON Support Center.
Ensuring Secure WEBTOON Account Management
- 🔒 Protect Your Account Credentials: Always use a strong, unique password for your WEBTOON account and avoid sharing it. This prevents unauthorized access to your Coin balance and unlocked content.
- 🔒 Monitor Purchase History: Regularly review your purchase history within the app to ensure all Fast Pass transactions are legitimate. If you notice any suspicious activity, report it immediately to WEBTOON Support.
- 🔒 Beware of Unofficial Sources: Only access Fast Pass and unOrdinary through the official WEBTOON app or webtoons.com. Unofficial sites often host pirated content and can pose security risks to your device and personal information.
- 🔒 Keep Your App Updated: Ensure your WEBTOON app is always running the latest version. Updates often include security enhancements and bug fixes that protect your user experience and data.
